Dave Crossland - What Was I Thinking

Good people of my mailing list,

Completely blissed out on life as we know it, I forgot to include gigs on yesterday's newsletter.

How could I leave you hanging so?

Your humble artist,

Upcoming Giggage:

(last ones in Eastern Mass for a while, so if you're in the area, now is the time...)

Sat, Dec 8

8:00 pm

The Loring-Greenough House

12 South Street

JP is one of the hippest, alt-ish areas around Boston and so is this homegrown venue, conveniently located in a beautiful old house from the 1760's that's listed on the National Register for Historic Places  --and a mere 5 blocks from JP Licks' homemade ice cream, coffee and dessert shop....

Wed, Dec 12

9:00 pm

Johnny D's

17 Holland Street

Playing a full set before Richard Buckner.  Never met him before, but he sounds very alt-americana, in a cool, kind of Townes Van Zandt -ish way.  This should be a very good show.

Sat, Jan 5

8:00 pm

South Shore Folk Music Club

Beal House - 222 Main Street

$10 / $12

The Beal House is one of the first venues in the Boston area ever to book yours truly.  And, though no one made the connection back then, this folk club started out in a parish hall in Marshfield named after the Venerable Archdeacon of New Bedford, Herbert L. Johnson.  My grandfather.  How's that for cosmic?  Splitting the bill with Pat Wictor, songwriter and slide-guitarist exceptionale.
